Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am lucky enough to live right next door to the "necropolis" that is Colma, Ca. I love to photograph cemeteries, as well as do rubbings & casts of gravestones. My husband and I enjoy searching for the stones that are requested. (At least he says he enjoys it LOL!)

I am a photo volunteer... I volunteer to take photos because of my love of photography and my passion for funerary architecture. I am by no means a professional, but I believe that every picture I take has all of "me" that I can put into it. All the time spent trudging through cemeteries, searching record books and endless computer print outs, having your car locked in the cemetery and having to walk home 'cause you were determined to find that one last grave, has a pay off in the end; Its so worth it to me when someone just says 'Thank you.'

RE: Lazzaro memorial photos
I want to thank you again for the beautiful photos and send an update. Nickolas at the cemetery sent news that the graves of both Angela and Maria Lazzaro had been moved to a family plot in the 1930s. Nickolas was kind enough to send photos of the new location.

Lazzaro memorial photos
Whoa! I'm stunned, thank you so much! I couldn't believe my eyes when these beautiful photos appeared like magic. You're an absolute treasure. The photos are very special, Gaetano and Pasguale were brothers that left Italy at the turn of the century. Even though we live just south in Southern California none here knew what had become of the brothers. Sad that they were lost to our branch of the family. I have located family still living in the towns of Capurso and Bari where they were from that will be thrilled to receive these precious photos. Thank you so much. The Happiest of Holidays to you and yours. The Lazzaro Family.

By the way... I have those pics, plus several more from what appears to be the Simpson family corner, in original high def format. They are rather large, at least 2meg each, but I could send them if you are interested. Let me know.

Thank you for your kind words, but it's really not a big deal. I know how much it means to some people and I'm only too pleased to help when I can.

Thank you for the photos. I use to travel all around there and never knew until recently, I had anyone buried there.

thank you for pictures
Thank you so much for the pictures of my grandfather's grave and those of his brother and sister-in-law. I have not been able to return to the cemetery to see his grave since he died. At that time there were so many burials for the Vietnam war dead that his burial was put on hold until an area could be opened. It has always bothered me that I never saw his tombstone. The picture means a great deal to me. Thank you so very much.

WOW! I can't believe how fast you got that picture to me. I just requested it late last night and I have it are awesome! I'm working so hard to make a family history book, with 5 main families coming in to one. I've never even seen a picture of my Great Uncle Toms grave because it was so far away. Thank you so much for giving me another piece of our history. If there's ever anything you need up my way, don't hesitate to let me know.
