I do show him as being buried there. I show that he was born in Switzerland and that he died in Vallona, Conta costa city calif. on 29 Sept 1895 and was buried on 1 Oct 1895. I also have a Maggie Eggler in the same plot who died 14 Jan 1885 @ age 3 months. This Graveyard is very neglected and run down. Many of the grave markers are gone(either time, vandalism or stolen). you can actually see down inside some of the graves that's how bad it is. It is the 1st official Cemetery of the city of Vallejo. but being that it is located outside city limits in the county the city( if it don't put $$$ in the city officials pockets they don't care) says it is the responsibility of the county to take care of it and the county says the city. Only the grasses are cut by the 2nd half of the cemetery which is a Catholic side or sometimes they bring in county prisoners to cut the grasses. Sad situation all the way around especially when family comes looking for family and can't find their grave because the marker is no longer there :-( Sorry I couldn't be of more help but I did take photos in the general area of the grave.

Hi Theresa
I'm not sure what you are asking me - but if it is that you wish to create memorial pages for these three and upload the photos onto them, feel free!
regards, Barb

Hi Theresa

If you go to the Boroondara Cemetery site at:

and type Griffiths in the surname box, you will find records for all of them for the same grave site.

Esther Caroline was buried there, whereas the twin daughters (who died within months of each other aged 91!!) had a "placement", which means their ashes were put in the grave. So, yes, it would appear that they are all there. The record for Esther mentions "Camberwell" but this seems to be about where she died rather than where she was buried.

cheers, Barb

Griffith plaque
Hi Theresa
I've sent the picture as an attachment. It's occurred to me that it might be too large for your mail provider, so let me know if it doesn't turn up.
cheers, Barb

Hi there

You are most welcome to use the pictures anywhere you like - I'm not fussed at all about that.

By the way, the grave for Mary and Richard has a modern plaque on it (you can see it in the full shoot), that we also took a picture of - lists Esther, Margaret and Winifred. Would you like to have that? If so, perhaps let me know where you'd like me to upload it.
cheers, Barb
