RE: Charles M McKee
See, when I had that little story dictated to me by one of the McKee kids, it was before I found out he true story from Rick and his sister. And I forgot to remove the wrong one! Dangit! Thanks for catching it. Charles was without the middle name and when he enlisted, they asked him for an initial so he made it up (M).

Terie, can you please add this bio to my husbands great grandfather? I have photos to add as well.

Thanks,

Charles married Martha Etta Marler in Douglas, Missouri in 13 Mar 1904 and later they migrated to West Fork, Missouri where they retired.

Spanish-American War: Pvt Charles McKee served in the Army from 12 Apr 1899 to 23 Jun 1902 as part of the 20th Kansas Volunteer Infantry "Fighting 20th", Regiment 22, Company K in the Spanish and the Philippine Wars (in the battle of the Philippine Insurection). He was discharged at Angel Island, San Francisco, California in 1902.
