Bio and Links
Bio Photo Currently researching and writing a book on my Mills family history. My 5th great-grandparents, James and Rachel Mills, brought their family from Maine to Indiana about 1811. I have family that still farms the area where they settled and died. I am proud of that heritage and plan to honor it with this document, now over 300 pages, which I hope to have published by year's end. If you have roots in Gibson County, Indiana, we are probably connected. Leave me a message. Thanks.

I have also just added the Obituaries for Marvon, Thelma and Oscar. I could not locate one for Anna.

Re: Re: Benjamin Ayers
Disregard previous message, I see I created the memorials of Benjamin & his wife, I have posted copies of the death certificates as documentary proof of burial.

Re: Benjamin Ayers
Your documentation would be his death certificate. There is nothing better than that to prove his burial location, another source would be an obituary stating burial was made in Meade Cemetery or a funeral home record. It is most likely if Dan didn't find a gravestone it is unmarked. If he hasn't got a memorial in the cemetery I would add him & put the information of the death certificate as prove of burial location. I have done this myself when they are not on a cemetery record. I have found discrepancy in cemetery records before.
