Margaret Monk

You sent me an edit request for Margaret Monk, but there are no changes listed?

What was the nature of the request supposed to be?

Brown Genealogy

I noticed on memorial 63992071 that you indicated an interest in Brown family genealogy.

I am interested in knowing more about Susan Brown Focht and her ancestors. According to her memorial that Bill Corl posted, her father was John Brown. I am pretty familiar with the life of her husband, Rev. David H. Focht.

In particular, I would like to know the name of her mother and the names of siblings.

I do have some information from the newspaper story on her wedding and I have copies of the the will and accounting of Rev. Focht's effects upon his death. In addition I have Lutheran Synod material regarding annual appropriations to Susan as well as the usual census material. I will be pleased to share, if you wish.

Do you know the parents of Jacob? I have a Frederick and Mary Stuck from this same are who had two children born between 1828 and 1830 and I'm curious if one of them could be Jacob?

Thank you,

RE: Stuck families of Crawford County
I went to Probate Court today. I have a copy of the marriage license for Wm H Stuck and Hannah J Russell. There is no mention of either of their parents. I could scan and email to you or send by regular mail. Let me know.

RE: Stuck families of Crawford County
The only Wm Stuck I see buried in Crawford County died in 1888. He was married to Lydia Kester who is one of my husband's relatives. My marriage license book shows the following: William H, son of Jacob, marrying Hannah J Russel, daughter of Jacob, on 20 Nov 1879. Harry A married Mary M Leicy, widow of Daniel E Leicy, on 23 Sept 1920. Erma L married Albert J Eason, son of Charles Joseph, on 24 Sept 1918. This was Alberts second marriage. He and his first wife, Mina Della Carr are buried in Fairview Cemetery, Galion, Crawford County. Sara Ellen married John Witschi, son of Jacob, on 12 Feb 1937. I do not see that anyone else is buried in Crawford county.
