The Coopers of Coopersville
Hi again. I was wrong about the graveyard. The Coopers are all over the place: Maple Grove Cemetery, Coopers Cemetery, Shutes Cemetery. As well as Oregon, California, New Jersey, Minnesota, New York. Yes, Coopersville was named for my 2nd Great grandfather, Ebenezer Cooper. I just put a picture of the home he built (or had built) on his memorial.

And to add to my message, I too am into genealogy. I have seventeen Rev. War ancestors; War of 1812; and two Civil War survivors.

What a nice memorial for Antoine Poland. I took a picture of his grave in 1990, 9/23/90 to be exact. I looked for his grave memorial and was about to put one up and found yours. I don't know why I took the picture, perhaps because he was a Rev. war hero. They were all heros. He wasn't related to me, he was however in the cemetery where many of my Coopers are buried.

I am sorry for all of the trouble tht you had trying to get into East Street Cemetery in Chicopee. Last summer when I was there the gate across from the Funeral Home was locked but the gate on the street over was open and I got in that way.

Sorry not sure what the name of that street was.

Thanks for trying!!

Abraham Van Horn
Thank you for attempting to take the photo of Abraham and Eunice Van Horn's gravestones. I appreciate it, even though you were unsuccessful. They may not even have headstones since it was so long ago. Thanks again!
