I have accepted your edits for these two people, but am changing Esther's death place to Cheboygan, Cheboygan County, rather than Benton Twp, Washtenaw County. Although she died in Benton Twp, Find a Grave does not appear to have an option for the Benton Twp in Cheboygan County. I would be happy to share more info if you are interested.

Thank you for your speedy reply.
I could not make out what was at the top of the stone and thought it might be writing, but it must be a decoration.
Since the name Ellsworth is not on the stone, where did the name come from?
The record says she died in 1888, not 1883.
My great great grandfather was Dewit Reeves, so we are distantly related.

Is there a way to know what is exactly on the headstone? I cannot read most of it from the photo.
Also, there are three children listed as *calculated relationships. How were these relationships decided on?
The reason I am asking is because her maiden name is listed as Ellsworth on findagrave and Ellingworth other places such as FamilySearch. Without knowing her last name I am unable to go any further in her family tree. While it might be true that the name was written down incorrectly and it is the same person, it also could be true they are different.
Thank you, Alice Catlin

Hi Michael - I have a photo of Ernestine's marker with her date of death inscribed now. I will be happy to send this to you so you can delete the current one and add this new one instead. Can you share an email address with me? Cheers, Amy

Hi Michael, I would like to take back the last correspondence on the Dibrell brothers Jim, Joe, and William. I "do" think there is a connection. In the Ft. Smith Criminal case files there is a case involving James Dibrell. A writ was served at what looks like Elim Springs, which I believe may be Erin Springs regarding a shooting that happened on his ranch on Red River.
Also, on ancestry (don't know the accuracy) is Joseph Dibrell b. 1841 MS, married Nancy Stone, had a daughter Nora b. 1882. It shows that he is buried at Erin Springs died 1883. If this in fact is "your" Joseph Dibrell then it appears there is a connection. We "know" that Nora Dibrell married Dardis Taliaferro in 1899 (part Choctaw) and they lived at Leon.
I have more information and if you are interested in corresponding please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Please enter DIBRELL RANCH in the subject line.

Hi Michael, Wanted to drop you a quick line with an update on the Dibrell brothers Jim, Joseph and William. Thank goodness for initials! The Dibrells connected with the ranch near Leon are James E, Joseph B, and William H. That would be different from your brothers of Sophie. Thought I would pass this on. Please let me know if you run across and Dibrell info from this bunch and I will do the same with your Erin Springs. Scott
