Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi! I have been working on my family tree for ten years (2006-2016). My father's side settled in the Brooklyn-Queens area of New York about 1850. They were German immigrants. My mother's side is from Maryland & Virginia. Those lines go back to the 1600's. The oldest stone I have been able to find, through Find-A-Grave, is 1861 in Maryland. So far, I have found about 100 family members through Find-A-Grave. Thank You to all who have helped me!

Peter Joseph Beyer
I added a first wife for your Peter Joseph Beyer.

By my records in, Peter Joseph Beyer's married Wilhelmine (Minnie)Vogler April 5 1899 in Brooklyn NY. They had one son Herman Peter Beyer born 13 Nov 1899.

I have hand written family tree notes from my grandfather John Stager. His mother was Josephine Vogler. Wilhelmine Vogler is Josephine's sister, John's Aunt. He has her married to Peter Beyer, and one son named Herman.

This is how I linked my Peter to your Peter and his second wife Ann.

In the 1915 census of NY City Peter, Minnie and Herman are living in NY and his occupation is Saloon Keeper.
1917-1918 WW1 registration for Peter Joseph Beyer, wife is Minnie, occupation Saloon Keeper, birthday matches 30 Sept except it says 1877. I feel this is a typo. Same occupation, same birthdate except year, same spouse. His address is 2163 Metropolitan Ave.

In 1920 Peter is w/ Minnie and Herman living at 2163 Metropolitan Ave, his occupation is not legible. Note, address and birthdate match.

His wife Minnie died in 1929. Widower.

1930 Peter is living with his son Herman, and his sons wife Barbara at 13552 Sutter Ave Queens, he is a widower and his occupation is Sanitation Dept, street cleaner.

Married Ann Sullivan 1933. (you have noted that it is his second wife).

27 Apr 1942 WWII registration, occupation Dept of Sanitation. Birthdate matches and his wife is Ann.

RE: The Egans's
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations.
This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
This is what they are going by..Unreal since we are with them now

RE: Franz Bayer / Anton Beyer
My name is Bill Schad and am a Great-Great-Grandson of Franz Bayer. My maternal grandmother was Anna Josephine Beyer-Vetere, daughter of Anton.

I am fairly new to tracing our families and our heritage and "stumbled" onto this site, and the information you have posted for Franz and family. This will certainly help with my research and I want to thank you, sincerely.

If I can provide any information on this family lineage, which you might or might not want/need, please contact me at

Again, thank you!
