RE: A Mystery
Ya know, this same kind of situation came up and Santa Barbara Cemetery just a few weeks ago. It seems that the person was cremated at SB Cemetery and the ashes scattered elsewhere but a marker was placed within the cemetery also. If someone finds a marker in Goleta for E R Rodearmel then it might be possible that the same thing has happened again.

I added more photos for Toivo J Tommila. You can now see all markers on the lot, including that of his parents and sister. (Sect. J)

I also located a Matias E Tuomala (b. 1898) in the same section; as well as a John (1869-1950)& Elizabeth (1871-1950) Tuomala, with sons Victor (1899-1948) and Matti (1903-1966). Please let me know if these interest you.

RE: Skinners in Woodlands Cemetery
I was thinking perhaps Herbert died near Cambridge, NY and I was going to offer some help in finding his grave. Good luck with your search.

RE: Skinners in Woodlands Cemetery
Hi Jan,
I have transferred Anna and Mary to you as I would prefer to have a family member manage them. I photographed them thinking they might be of interest to you since their stones were so close to the ones you wanted. Yes, there were other Skinners nearby-probably the same plot, but I didn't take much note of them-sorry. A list of Skinners in Woodlands (may not be complete)can be found at
Do you know where Herbert died and have you been able to find an obituary for him?

Hi Jan,

I added the links and filled in Anna's middle name. I am not related at all. Let me know if you would like her transferred to you.

Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg, MA
I have visited the office for this cemetery. Their records are not online and will not be for a minimum of six months. You can file a request for records look up, however there is a large pile of requests that will probably not be done before that. You have to request info online. The office person for the cemetery is extremely nice but the funding is not there for this service. I will check back with them after the first of the year to see the progress. I did drive around the cemetery but there is no way without a great deal of luck that I will find anything that has been requested.

RE: Photo for May Strauss Scheiderer
You are very welcome! I also took pictures of the surrounding Strauss graves. If you take a look at the caption on the photo of May's grave, you will be able to find the names.
