Meet my parents: |
Jay B. Junior Londo & Linda Lou Ketchum Londo .
Two of my favorite musical compositions:
Le Chancon de Claudine and
Classical Gas , both by Mason Williams.
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

|Marlene Williams Dowling||Williams Ketchum connection??|
Hi Kathy, my grandfather was Clyde Williams of Lake County MI. His father was Charles Robert Williams..as kids we were told he may have been born to a Ketchum family as a twin and given to the Williams family. We can find no evidence of this but are brand new to family genealogy and are stumbling along. Thank you for any tips you might have, Marlene Williams Dowling and Russell Eugene Williams Midland, MI

My sincere honor to do so. Been a while since we last exchanged messages, I hope all is well. Mostly bucket list trips but glad I got on to see your thank you notes. God's speed!

Yes, Bertha Virginia Henrie Campbell is my cousin. Her great grandmother is sisters with my 2x great grandfather.
I believe she is still living in West Virginia, at the age of 94. I don't know if she remarried.
Her husband Roscoe Campbell Jr. (memorial #72877922) passed away in 2001.

I am sure I could. Mary Bywater was my great grandmother and I have many photos of her.

I found Calvin with his father and mother buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Grand Rapids. I have linked the family as best I can at this point. Diana

|Diana Ayers||Calvin Royce|
I don't know if you are aware that there is a Calvin Royce born to Wm. Royce and Louisa Kidd in 1817 VT. Wm. is from Orwell, Addison, VT. I am not sure where Louisa is from. In the 1850 census my Calvin is an architect.
Wm. and his sons Silvanus and Sylvester are all buried in Michigan. The twin sons are buried in Warren Union in Warren, MI and Wm. in Crooks Rd. Cemetery in Troy, MI.
Do you have documentation that this Calvin Royce the son of Lemuel and is the one buried in Boyd Cemetery and not the son of Wm. and buried in Boyd Cemetery.

Kathy, thanks for your response. No, I don't need him transferred to me. I'm not sure he is mine yet. I wanted to discuss it with you if you knew anything about him. Thanks
