Bio Photo Like many on this website, I enjoy old cemeteries and find a sense of peace in them. Being an avid lover of history, I feel it is important to document and record as many cemeteries as possible for ourselves and those who come after us.

RE: Photo
You are quite welcome. I should have added these pictures a few years ago. I took the pictures of the whole cemetery while doing the Parker line for a couple of Parker sisters here in Abilene, Texas. It was their G-Great Grandfather, Isaac Parker who started the church and cemetery long ago. I do not want to say 100%, but at least 99% of the people buried in the cemetery are related to Isaac in one way or another. It was fun doing the project for them. Hopefully it will not take me to much longer to all the rest of the pictures for the cemetery. I am at 60% right now. Other than the graves added in the past two years and two unknown graves with out names, I will add pictures to all of them.

Re: Clara Day Pugh, Roselawn, Baton Rouge, LA
In the same plot are

Clara Day Pugh 1931-1959
Eldred Day 1906-1975
L Dessie King Day 1907-1983
Dorthy Alma Sibley 1926-1930
Elsie Day 1926-1930
Christine Day 1928-1930

Don't know if or how they may be related. Should you need better, clearer photos, please do not hesitate. There may be other Sibley's out there, cannot promise. Looks like it may have been an accident that took the 3 children. Very sad.

Thank you for the correction. I changed his memorial because it made sense. I guess the obituary was in error. Hopefully, someone will add a picture of the gravestone.
