Rhodes picture
Hi Lynda, I am adding photos & came across this one because of a photo request. I almost didn't open it because it showed a "tombstone" photo already on there. I made this mistake myself a few times. When you add a photo, there is a box right at the type that asks "Type of Photo", the drop down choices are: GRAVE, (that's the automatic default). you can change the "photo" type, PERSON, FAMILY, & OTHER are the choices. So in this case you need to change it to person. It will then show a Picture Frame Icon. This way by just looking at the List of names, someone can see right away someone has added a photo! From personal exp., I go back over my "Ancestry", on occasion & was happy to see that someone else was "working" a particular memorial. This always led to some great discoveries, as well as new contacts. I hope you don't take offense that I "explained", or that I ask if you could change the "type" of photo. Thanks, G

RE: transfer page
Thank you so much Lynda. It was so nice of you. Interesting that William's brother Eleazer Biggs also married a Ferguson. Sisters? It also seems the Biggs and Ferguson families were close through the years. I will keep you posted.

Consider placing note on memorial and request date change - wonder why baby's name was not on headstone. Could have been to painful at the time. You might consider contacting the county for copy of death cert.

Trying to figure out marriages???
Question?... Ok, I found this via your email.... so this gets confusing! Apparently Lewis Cass Trent was md. THREE times... 1st. to Susan Hays(Hayes) of KY, so do you have a marriage date for that marriage? Then he md. 2nd. Louise Burkhardt of KY, do you have a marriage date for that marriage? Then he md. 3rd. Elizabeth M. "Lizzie" (Faulkner) Banks of KY, do you have a marriage date for that marriage? For with a birth of 1924 for Mattie, she has to be from either marriage two or three.

OR do you have Louise Burkhardt as an Louise Elizabeth or Elizabeth Louise and she was not maiden surnamed Banks?, but a Faulkner? and therefore md. at least once before she md. Lewis Cass Trent?

It looks as IF he divorced Susan Hays and that they had no children, while she had children by a husband before marrying Lewis Cass... as she was md. to a Robert Frazier (b.1843)...... Then he md. Louise and they had one child, Rev. John Henry Trent and so did she die? or did he divorce her? and then md. Elizabeth Faulkner of ??

Who was Grandpa "Will"? Was Lewis Cass Trent also called or known as "Will", no, that would have to apply to William Franklin Wadkins...RIGHT!! SO this line up of marriages would have to mean what? Back to an incomplete naming of the 2nd. wife?

Thanks, Scott Trent - VA

Ferguson Family
Hi Lynda,
I am researching the Ferguson family and see where you maintain several of the memorials in Copiah County. Do you know if Samuel Marley Ferguson is the son of Moses Ferguson and Elizabeth Lively from S.C.
Moses and Elizabeth are my husband's 4th GGParents and have found the following children:
James 1768-1863
Moses Jr
Daniel Montgomery 1774-1840
Aaron E 1785-1861 (husband's 3rd GGFather)
Isham 1786-1843
Ely or Eli 1794-1850
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Have a nice evening,

Arthur Heatherly
Linda, Thanks for your reply. Clifford John Heatherly is buried in Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa Oklahoma. This is the same cemetery that Arthur Heatherly is buried in I believe.

There is a large obituary posted on Clifford's

memorial page but from what you have given I don't see any connection, but since they have the same last name & are buried in the same cemetery it sure sounds like they would be related.

Thanks, Alice
