My wife and I have been and are still researching our family lines... Chamberlain, Riley, Correll, Keller, Kennedy (Rev. War),Penn (Rev. War), Stout (Rev. War), Van Der Cook (Rev. War), Van Der Hoff (Rev. War), Van Ness (Rev. War), Selby (Rev. War), Jones, Webb (Rev. War) and Mayfield (Rev. War). If you have a connection to any of these lines, contact us. If you find anything (names or dates) that needs correcting...please let us know. If you are a family member who is related to any one we have posted on Find A Grave and want it transferred (within FAG guidelines) to you let us know.|
Visit the memorials for two of our Revolutionary War ancestors, John Kennedy (Memorial #46198972) who died of starvation on the British prison ship Jersey and his wife Esther (Stilly) Kennedy (Memorial #46367326) who is listed by both the DAR and SAR as a Rev. War Patriot for furnishing provisions to the Continental Army.
Since then our families have fought and sometimes died in every war up to Iraq (with the exception of the Spanish American War).
The photo was taken during October 2009 at a grave marking of Rev. War soldier Reuben Ross who is buried in Waverly located in central Illinois.

I made the updates to Charles White's memorial and transferred it back. I do appreciate you being thoughtful and transferring it to me though.

|JDM||RE: Landis Correll|
I know all about the family of Landis Jacob Correll. His sister, Mary Correll Frick, was my 3G Grandmother. I know that he had 3 known wives and 5 known children. His parents were Jacob and Maria Landis Correll who both died in Macomb County, Michigan. I would be happy to share info with you. All of my info is on my Ancestry Tree. Jill MacRae AKA JDM

Dear Toby, I ran across your much appreciated work on some cousins in my Gregory family, and wanted to provide more accurate info on memorial # 54279370 for Nellie Morris. Her info has been confused with another Nellie, my second cousin Helen "Nellie" Raleigh (Gregory) Murphey (memorial # 11303465).
1.) Nellie (Longtha) Morris (# 54279370) was born 15 APR 1867, in Illinois, and died 6 APR 1925 in Illinois. She is the daughter of Alex Longtha and Mary Gilmore, and married Willis Morris (info per Illinois, Deaths and Stillbirths Index, 1916-1947).
2.) Helen "Nellie" Raleigh (Gregory) Murphey (# 11303465) was born 3 SEP 1875, in Illinois, and died 21 AUG 1957 in NC. She is the daughter of John Raleigh Gregory and Rachel J Hodgerson (per North Carolina, Death Certificates, 1909-1976). Minerva Louisa Reynolds Gregory is her step mother. She married Charles Marion Murphey
It appears these two memorials need to be differentiated to show correct parentage, links, dates, etc.. I'm not sure how that is done, but if there is any way I can help, please let me know. Thank you so much for the work you have done!
