This is my mother's side of the family.
Birth name was actually RUPERTUS KLEIN but he went by "Robert".
Birth: 27 Mar 1860 in Austria
Death: 11 Sep 1923 in Marceline, MO
He was the 6th of seven children born to Franz (Frank) and Maria Klein. The entire family immigrated to the U.S. in 1868 aboard the Steamer Baltimore. They settled in Marceline on a farm along the Vandussen Creek. The Klein family became in-laws to the Steins and some are buried in the Stein cemetery.

It was some kind of dance. Also have pics of 2 of their children, of course grown with their spouses dressed the same and dancing. Always thought it was a cute picture!

Thanks for the transfer. I have not found any more photos of Fanny Rose Mastin--only the one you have on her record.

Do you know if there was a death notice for him that appeared in one of the local newspapers? I also happen to know that his brother Joseph is buried in the Stein Cemetery. If you want what information I have, I can send it to you.

Hello - Just want you to know I have not forgotten you. Haven't found anything other than the pics I emailed you but am still going through pics - mostly unidentified. Thank you & will still get back to you when I have something.

Here's my personal email:
Please send me yours and I'll email you pics of Ellen.
|Jill Stepp Johnston||RE: Ellen Mourning|
I don't remember if I sent you any photos of Ellen Mourning Fuqua. I have some, if you're interested.
|Amanda Parsons||Alsey Willis Rutledge|
I noticed you are a descendant of Alsey and William Rutledge too. I'm her granddaughter through Nancy Lou. I've been working on family tree stuff for a while but I have been at a dead end with Alsey for a while. I have one picture of her from when she was elderly. There's a family rumor that she was full blooded Indian, but I can't find any proof, I can't even find proof of her birth and only speculated proof of her parents. If you have any information on her, could you send it my way? I would be most grateful!
