Alexander and Jane Broaddus
Thank you so much for your time and trouble to take the photo of Alexander and Jane Broaddus' tombstone. I didn't realize that their son, Woodford Meade Broaddus, was buried there also. I'm kicking myself for that. I just created a memorial page for him. If you happen to be in the area, I would appreciate a photo of his marker or tombstone. Thank you again.

RE: Mathews of Mechanicsville
Sherry,

Felix Newton Mathews (aka Philip) was born July 1867 and he was married to Lula Temple Tucker.

I believe Manley is buried at Gethsemane church in Mechanicsville, but I have no info on the burial of Emma.

Perhaps she is buried on the old Atkinson family homestead. There are several unmarked graves on that land, now owned by an Atkinson cousin.

I can tell you that Manley and Emma were married on 27 Oct 1894 and Emma died sometime after the 1910 Census.

RE: Mathews of Mechanicsville
Sherry,

Manley Milton Mathews was married to Emma B. Atkinson. Emma was my great grand aunt.

Also, Manley Milton Mathews first wife was, Louisa Wright, mother of Manley.

His second wife was, Sarah Floid Atkinson she was another great grand aunt of mine, from my Atkinson side.

Info on Rebecca Martin
Rebecca Rice Martin was born Oct. 1857, died Dec. 1910 in Richmond, Va. She married John Henry Martin in 1878. He was born in 1856 in Hanover Co., died in 1907 in Hanover Co. There is some question whether Rebecca's middle name was Lee or Ann.
Thanks so much for helping with this.
