Hello! I have been really into my family history for about the last two years. I decided to volunteer when I came across this website and found a picture of a relative of mine. The picture of his headstone included a picture of him when he passed at the age of 4. I know how touched I was so I hope to do the same for others.

Currently I am attending college online while I take care of my daughter. She tags along on some of my journeys. She enjoys looking at the flowers and finding bugs.

Hope to touch your life the way mine was!!

Joseph & Louise Vallecorse
Hi K,

I'm one of the co-chairs of the Walnut Avenue Christian Church's 100th Anniversary Celebration and was wondering if this Joseph Vallecorse lived at 1919 Walnut Avenue. If so, please contact me!!

Thanks, Mary

Headstone photo
Hey K,
I just was checking back in, (been gone for a while) and saw the photo of Eunice Jane II's (Jennie E.) headstone. If that headstone is in the Stewart/South Hebron Cemetery in Hebron, McHenry county, it is the right one.
Thank you very much. I had spent a lot of time and I thought I had found all the headstones. Since I am done traveling, this is a godsend. Could you, would you send me a copy? I could download from the web site but it would be very small pixel size.

Bruce.

RE: Willson
Well...."YOU" deserve a great big gold star!!! You did a wonderful job with the photos and great detective work!!! Hannah's headstone is so clear to read now and can make out all the lettering. And then for you to discover the P K Willson at the bottom is wonderful! Mystery solved, great photos of P K & Hannah Willson, as well as Chauncey, George and Rosetta Willson. You are an angel and a blessing. It's wonderful when it all comes together, and would not be possible without people like you. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! Deborah

RE: Pliney Willson - NEW INFO
Hello...I received a reply from my friend/contact in Wisconsin & here is what she told me her book says about Jerome Cemetery & Pliney Willson & more. "Rosetta Willson, George Willson, Chauncey Willson all have replacement stones according to the book. They are buried next to Hannah & P.K. Where you found Hannah, the others should be right there. It is possible that P.K. Willson is on the same stone as Hannah." She said that a rubbing of the stone with tin foil may work to reaveal the words that cannot be read with the naked eye. I have also heard of rubbings with pencil, but the tin foil idea sounds good. Only take it on if you feel like it, in no way do I expect you to try again. But thought you would like to know what I found out. God Bless! Deborah

RE: Pliney Willson
First, "THANK YOU" very much for the photo of Hannah Thompson Willson at Jerome Cemetery in Harvard, Illinois. I have looked at the photos and am real sure you got it right. I can see the words..."Wife of ____ Willson", so very confident you got her. As for Pliney Knowlton Willson, I have contacted someone that should have the info on where he is buried, I hope. If I find out the exact location I will get back to you. If it turns out that he is buried next to Hannah and you saw no headstone, then he has none, but will wait for a reply from my other contact in Wisconsin to be sure before I remove the request. I do want to thank you also for your kindness. The photo looks great to me!!! At least there is a headstone left. And I am grateful for your efforts to find Pliney Knowlton Willson! God Bless! Deborah
