RE: Please contact me - re: Ellis Cannon
I have no proof on the Cannon line. Only family legend and on line web sites. Sorry.

Would you mind transferring control of my Aunt Ruth's site to me - I would appreciate it greatly. I am the family historian and trying to get our family updated and joined together.

Thanks so much

Brenda, thanks for helping me again. The tombstone picture for Dorothy Crunkleton is appreciated. Thanks for being a part of Find A Grave. It surely does help those of us who live so far away.

Absalom Petty
As a historian, I have to second what Gwen wrote about the photo attached to this man. There were no photographs in 1802 the year he died-- actually the process did not come to America until about 35 years later. I image looks to be maybe a "tintype" from about the 1870's

No problem. I enjoyed taking care of those requests. I did take extra photos if you'd like those e-mailed to you.

Picture of Absolom Petty
Is this indeed a photo of Absolom Petty that credited you as putting up on his Grave site for the Petty Family Cemetery in Gaffney, SC? I only question this due to the rareness of a photo during his lifetime. Most photography did not occur until mid to late 1800s. Do you also have a photo of his gravestone?
