|Ger H||possible error for Ellis gravesite|
I believe you have an individual mismatched in our families' Carlsen-Larsen cemetery about 1 mile SW of Elk Horn, Shelby county, Iowa; i.e., Louella Estelle (Ellis) Peterson is listed but is not a relative of all the other 8 individuals, who are all my close relations. I previously reported a related apparent discrepancy with her father's gravesite that is duplicative.
Instead, this gravesite should belong to my 2nd great-aunt: Esther Louisa (Larsen) Carlsen, born 4 Apr 1887 in Shelby County, Iowa, and died in Sep 1919 shortly after childbirth in Shelby County, Iowa. Her parents (Hans Larsen and Maren Andersdatter) and her brother Lewis Larsen and his wife Minnie Carlsen are also buried there.
I've researched extensively to try to confirm whether Louella Estelle Ellis Petersen was ever related to our family (she is NOT) and was buried there, but I could find no such records to support her burial at our Carlsen-Larsen cemetery. Conversely, our family has information that does show my 2nd great aunt Esther Louisa (Larsen) Carlsen was buried at this location; and her name is similar to that of Louella Estelle Ellis Petersen.
Would you please correct your information to reflect that Esther Louisa (Larsen) Carlsen is buried here, and not Ms Ellis? Please refer to websites at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gsr&GScid=94422 and http://iagenweb.org/shelby/cemetery/carlsen-larsen_cemetery.htm for more information. Thanks.

|Jean McLean||Sarah Schmuck's correct burial site.|
Hi Jackie, I am writing in regards to the grave site for Sara Schmuck.
When putting in only the first and last names for Sarah Schmuck in Findagrave I find her buried in 2 different cemeteries. The first in Rosehill, Adams Co.and the second where you have her buried. In looking up the town Stuart I find it is in the county of Guthrie and not Adair. Therefore I think maybe you have the wrong cemetery for Sarah? She is my great grandmother and my records show she is buried in Rosehill cemetery as is her daughter Sarah Schmuck Klingensmith.
Please let me know if I have made an error in placing her in Rosehill.

Are you still active on Find A Grave? I had sent you an email a few weeks ago concerning Nannie Williams, # 38760766 .
I am assuming Nannie is a nickname, was trying to find her real first name.
|Ger H||Thomas Perry Ellis|
Please refer to Find A Grave Memorial# 38760665 and Find A Grave Memorial# 112501061, both of which describe the same individual: Thomas Perry Ellis (1861-1921); the first memorial reports him buried at Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Marion Co., IL, while the latter has him buried at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney, Richland Co., IL. Was he moved to be buried with rest of family at Olney? Thanks!

|Ger H||Louella Estelle Ellis Peterson|
Please see: Find A Grave Memorial# 38760687.
I also sent email with details of request to your listed email address.
I wondered if you knew why and how Lulu was buried at my family's small Carlsen-Larsen Cemetery near Elk Horn, Iowa.
Thanks for your help! Gerry H

Thank you for the pictures of these two individuals and the obit on Ted. I met and stayed with their father Edwin E.Ellis in Riverside years ago. So it is always nice to put a face to a name.
Is there a reason use all small letters?

Sorry, but there is NO Kearney Cemetery in Kearney County, NE.
Thomas is not listed in the Kearney Cemetery in Kearney, NE either.
