I have been researching cemeteries in Chesterfield county, VA for the past 25 years. My purpose is to honor all who have gone before. With that thought in mind, all are welcome to use my headstone photos. I ask only that they be used with respect.|
Please take a moment to stop by my mom, Lori's , memorial and leave a flower. I was so blessed to have her for 8 years.
Note: Please, please, please use the Edit feature located in the upper right corner of memorials to ask for corrections, etc. I try my best to fulfill these asap. Thanks!
Transfers: I tend to stick to Findagrave's transfer policy but will consider transferring memorials outside these recommendations. I prefer to keep my own relatives and most of my Chesterfield County, Virginia memorials. I do not transfer to anyone named "anonymous" or anyone with no means of contact. When requesting transfers PLEASE include your Findagrave ID number (located in parentheses next to your name on your profile page), relationship to the person on the memorial and a way to contact you. And please submit each transfer request separately using the "other" edit request for each memorial.
Also, please be aware that edits sent thru the "other" tab often go into the "Junk Mail" box and it may take me a little while to find them.

You are welcome. We added memorial pages for his wife, Emma and son Arthur and his wife. They were in a row. Be happy to transfer.

178001734 is the ID for son of Major Thomas Bolling. Thanks!
|Jones_Family||Thomas Bolling, Son of Major Thomas Bolling|
178001830 is the ID to add as child of Major Thomas Bolling.
I am sending next message on one more ID- John Bolling.
Please add 178001632 to Major Thomas Bolling and his spouse. She is his child.
Look at the next two messages, I'm adding other ID's of John and Thomas Bolling. Thanks!
They are my ancestors.
If they are in the same cemetery as Major Thomas Bolling, let me know so I can update the cemetery. I am trying to find their corrected cemetery. Thanks!
|Jim Graham||Death Date William H. Holt|
In East Matoaca Cemetery, William H Holt's death year shows on the stone photo as 1923, but is shown as 1925 on narrative data within the memorial, and no further explanation is there. I believe the date written in the memorial should be changed to 1923, consistent with the photo, unless you know something that is not apparent here.

Rachel, thank you very much for the photo you did of my great grandfather Samuel Patterson Agee and his wife Rilla and his grandsons Randal H Agee and Alfred G Agee. My aunt Jeanett Green and I had this stone erected in Bethlehem cemetery. My father Alfred G Agee married a South Carolina girl after WWII and left Virginia. Would you be kind enough to post this photo on his memorial 44177797. I do want to keep his memory alive in both places Have a wonderful Holiday Season and thank you for your hard work. May God bless you G Agee.
