Hi Jeff. I am doing research on the Mundy and Trout families. I was wondering if you have any idea who Nancy A. Trouts parents were. I have seen records that say her mother was Jane Jacobs but then another record stated her mothers maiden name was Twiggs. There is also some despute with this records because one says her fathers name was John while the other says he was Henry.

Some of my line went from Jefferson County to Hamilton County. Most of them went on to Texas from there. Is your John Troutt the oldest one on the census from 1830? I'm looking at a John Troutt who was from VA and had his sons in TN, which is where all of my line comes from. If I can remember tomorrow I can try to send you some of what I have. I do have some of them out to the generation before me now so I have come a long way. No one even knew where my gggggrandfather was buried until now. So I'm hitting milestones finally.

Hey Jeff!! Have you done much research on your Troutt line? I have mine from my John M. b. 1829 in TN down with most of his kids (12) but I'm trying to find his dad. My Troutt's come from Tennessee to Jefferson County, IL. Then most of them went to Dublin, Texas in the late 1800's. If you have before 1830 and your line connects to mine can ya share? lol I'm driving myself nuts trying to figure out which early settler is John M.'s dad. It could be either one. I'm thinking I may have to go to Mt. Vernon for a probate record on both of them. Yes, I know, wouldn't it be weird if we were distant cousins. lol We may as well be, we share a brother.

Thank you so much for taking a photo of my grandparents grave!
I would like to thank you so very much for going out and taking these photos for me. Mine is one of those fleeting families that is very hard to track down so this is a real treasure for me.I live in Texas and am not sure if I will ever be able to make it up to Illinois. Thank you again so much. Vikki North

Thank you for your reply on my request. If you found her husbands headstone then could I see that one or do you want me to add him to findagrave first?
Thanks so very much for your time.
