Bio Photo I am now retired, and have been a very active genealogist for almost 30 years now. I'll never compete for the "million or more club" here as some folks do, and I have no desire to, but I do take good care of my small but increasing number of memorials that are meaningful to me.

You are welcome. I will work on your other request when I hear back from Garland Brook. Some of your request are in sections that have not been plotted.

RE: Marion E. Bannister photo request
My grandchildren and I had a wonderful time at Garland Brook. They helped me take lots of pictures and we put new flowers on our family graves. If you ever have a request for Garland Brook just let me know. It is a family time for us and we love it. Have a great week-end.

RE: Isaac Bradford photo request
David Ė
Thanks. This afternoon, I went to Rest Haven cemetery and met the manager who took me to Lot 29 where Isaac Bradford was supposedly buried (according to one source of information). Another source of information stated Mabel Swisher (1895-1912) and John Bradford (1856-1917) were buried in the same lot. The lot has room for 4 graves, but the only headstone is for John Bradford. The manager probed the lot and found two spaces apparently empty, but the space next to Johnís (which was on the north side of Johnís grave) was occupied. Now we have a new mystery: who was Mabel Swisher and is she the one in the grave next to John Ė or could Isaac be buried there instead? I took a few pictures when I was at Rest Haven today and if you would like to see them, just send me an email.

Hi David,
The edit feature does not included an edit for changing grave location. It reads as follows;

Suggest a correction or an addition:
Birth/death date, birth/death place
Relationship (parent and spouse links)
Plot or GPS
Marker transcription
Suggest any other correction or addition

I believe I used the correct format. As far as my source, for all of the edits for Mabel Jones, it was her Indiana Death Certificate. Information included her place of birth, parents (which of course gave me her maiden name) and were she was buried. I hope this helps.

Glad I could assist, David...and good luck figuring out the "C"! If you are convinced it's incorrect feel free to decline the edit I sent you on that.

All my best, Mark

John Bradford 1618-1676
Hello Mr. Cann:

I have some information which you might consider adding to this find-a-grave memorial. J

John Bradford was left behind with his maternal grandmother, so it is true he wouldn't have been regarded as one of the Pilgrims, but he eventually did make his way to Plymouth, where he resided in Duxbury, and eventually married Martha Bourne, and the couple moved on to Norwich, Connecticut where he died in 1676, having had no children. This information is contained at this link:

It is supported on page 11 of The Ancient Estate of William Bradford, found online at Family Search. This writing indicates that John Bradford's father, Governor William Bradford, died May 9, 1657, leaving three sons, John, William and Joseph, and indicates that John had previously removed to Norwich, Connecticut, while the others remained behind in Plymouth.

I wish you a happy and prosperous New Year.
