Thanks, for making my day! I wish you could have seen me at the cemetery. Sunscreen, bug spray, wide brim hat, mirrors, paper and charcoal, cameras, umbrella, magnify glasses etc. I was not leaving without locating Barbara!! I spent a lot of time looking over all the hard to read stones until I found her. I'll bet the folks in the next valley over could hear my "Whoopie" when I found her.
Enjoy your day, Mark

I found Barbara!! It is not very legible, but it is her. I have posted the photo of her headstone on Findagrave. I made a trip down this week. I have also solved another mystery. Always wondered about her date of birth, October 6th or November 5th. I found a record of another Barbara Paul, daughter of Martinus and Catherine Paul, born 6 October 1788 in Upper Saucon Township. I found the record at the Northumberland County Historical Society. Also took several other photos of our Barbara's headstone. If you would like any of the other photos, let me know. Purchased a book, "There is Something About Rough and Ready". It has a list of burials at the cemetery and shows J. Nicholas Brosius buried there. I have never seen that in other records. Where do you show him buried? Thanks!! Mark Weitzel

Hi Lucille, Very pleased to hear from you and hope you are doing better. I am the GGG-Grandson of David Peter Brosius and Eve Coleman. I live in Portville NY and went to Salem Cemetery at Rough and Ready, PA last year searching for Barbara Paul Brosius. Somehow I missed her stone and then a couple of weeks ago I found a paper in my files that stated the tombstone is in German and what it said. I hope to get down there again very soon and locate her stone. You will be the first to know. I would like to Thank you again for all you have done. I have a lot on info. on the family due to your efforts and it means a lot to me. I am connected to a lot of Families down your way in the New Bethleham area. Bowersox, Champion, Farringer, Lucas, Slagle, Snyder and Watterson to name a few.

I am also a descendant of Elisha Wall, via his daughter Deborah Wall Thompson O'Bleness. Would you like to share information on this family?

Thank you so much for adding William Procious's photo to Findagrave! I also see that many of the family stones were added to Mt. Zion Cemetery by Burke Stoughton.
Have a great day.
