In the lineage of my father, I am descended from Isaac Lightfoot, a son of Samuel Lightfoot and Rachel Milhous - Quakers from Chester County, Pennsylvania, who relocated to Southeastern Ohio in the early 1800's. By 1870, Isaac was living in Barnesville, Belmont County, OH. Isaac bore Thomas Charles Lightfoot in 1855 who actually preceded Isaac in settling in Barnesville. Thomas C. Lightfoot begat Oscar Smith Lightfoot of Barnesville, who begat Harold Lightfoot - also of Barnesville, Ohio - who fathered me in Canton, OH where I currently reside. Surnames associated with that side of my family tree include Lightfoot, Harrold, Jarrett, Mason, Richeson, House, and Capstack. Surnames associated with my mother's side of the family tree (based in Canton, OH) include McDowell and Nieporte.|

Thank you for sharing his birth date of Feb 7, 1728.... could you please share the source for that so I can post it on his memorial?

I visited the Concord Quaker Cemetery in Colerain Twp, Belmont Co, Ohio and took photos of all the headstones. I did not see one marked with Samuel's name. There were a few that are unreadable. It would be helpful to have his section and plot number.
