I grew up down the road from that cemetery. Unfortunately, the Catholic Church (that was by the cemetery) was a mission church on the Indian Reservation. As the Indians sold their properties and moved away the rural churches were consolidated and the cemetery was sold to farmers who pastured their cows on the property. (Happens more than you would think) Most of the markers are gone. When I was a township Clerk I tried to make the Township care for it...we made a valiant effort, but the graves would cave in as we walked around to clean up and trim. (a problem I experienced as a child there) Thus it was abandoned again after I left office.
Please don't let this stop you from making a great memorial for your uncle.

Hi Barbara... Thank you for the information. I will make sure to add the second son into my tree. Do you happen to recall the first son's name and date of birth?
