Eccles in Brampton Cemetery
I really have to apologize. I have sent the same suggestion to enter on the bio portion of Find A Grave to three different Eccles people. I was unable to delete two of my suggestions after I sent them.

I was trying to send you the obit for James Mercer Eccles who died in 1991, and the rest of my notes I have on him.

Erroneously, I sent the same info for his parents, James Alexander Eccles and Wilhelmina (Lyons) Eccles. Please ignore the bio suggestions I sent for them.

So sorry about this. I guess I should quit for the night.

Sincerely,

Ruth Jaynes

William John Marshall
This person was my 2nd great uncle. I live in Limehouse and visit the cemetery frequently. Your information states that the "inscription" reads with DOB & Death and is buried in plot 149. I can find neither plot 149 or a headstone. Can you help?

# 141397244, Anne Smellie Murray
Hello,
I believe you have made an error in the entry regarding Annie Smellie Murray (# 141397244). She was not married to John Dixon Murray that we knew as Uncle Jack. His real wife's name was Mabel and I remember her well from my boyhood. She was confined to a wheel chair and was still around in the 1960's when I was a boy and met her. Annie Smellie, daughter of Helen Marshall and James Smellie married my great grandfather John Inglis Murray, 1849-1926.

Frank Short
I see you are a horse lover - as I am. Actually the 5th picture that I want to add for Frank Short is of him on horseback, 1941........He was always a horse fancier & I have a very neat old story to add to find a grave, if you pass it on to me. His two grandsons are way way more horse "crazy" than even my uncle Frank!!! Muriel

Chisholm, Coningsby
Hello there,

I just noticed a photo request for Coningsby Cemetery (I used to live near there and have relatives buried there as well). I've taken photos of about 1/2 the headstones at Coningsby. One was very hard to read and I was only able to make out "Ann" however a find a grave contributor inverted the colours on the photo and was able to tell me the last name was "Chisholm."

I thought this Ann Chisholm might be of interest to you; it's possible that Margaret might be on another face of the same stone.

Here is Ann Chisholm's entry:
