Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've always been a bit interested in my family history and the stories. I grew up hearing stories of my mother's family and how they immigrated from the Black Sea area and my father's family having to change their name because of trouble with the law.

When my late husband was diagnosed with cancer and I found myself at home with him a lot between doctor and hospital visits, my curiosity of who I am and where I came from took over. Kind of a life goes on in spite of the loss of those you love thing I guess. I have been very much enjoying finding things about my family and its' history. Haven't yet found a wanted poster of great-great-grandpa Andrew Jackson Arlint a/k/a John S. Boyles, but have lots on his civil war service - and some of my other relatives history.

It's a relatively simple website, but you can see some of my research at my website: ArlintKrauseFamily.com.

You're welcome. I don't remember why the flag was at half staff, but it made it easier for my purpose.

Delores,
Ooohh! Nice break through. I have just linked Pauline with her mother Grace (?maiden name) Gillespie Arlint Burke.

Thank You!

My sister-in-law may have a photo of Grace. Would you recognize her?

My sister-in-law's memories are painful and she does not care to revisit them. But, I shall ask about photos.

Again thank you.

Delores,
I am replying in regard to your sentence "If anyone should have information on any of these family members, please let me know."

I do not know that I have any more information. But, I ask you to view 2 memorial and maybe you can help me locate Grace Arlint and Herman Gillespie.

Please view memorial #130686841.

Please view memorial #21897053.

Percadel Willa "Del" Halstead White #31508739
Hi! Dee,
Thanks so much for transferring her to us.
Now that I know she also served during WW II.
I'll being trying to find out what she did & her rank. It's ashame the rules hadn't been changed by 2005. Now it's been set up that both the husband & wife can be recognized with their individual service information. My husband & I will be laid to rest in Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. It's a beautiful place & we will be honored to be there when the time comes.
You have a safe & enjoyable week. Take care & God bless.

Ester Mary Corely Arlint
I was at Valley View Memorial Gardens on Feb.1/14 and the office had no record of her.
Maybe different spelling, another name or ??

Name: Ester Mary Arlint

Event Date: 1974 10 1 (Yr/Mo/Day)
Age: 67
Gender: female
Event Place: Surrey

Reg. Number: 1974-09-014937
B.C. Archives Microfilm Number: B13336
GSU Microfilm Number: 2050340

I could check at our local library as they have all the microfilm of BC Deaths there unless you already have a copy of original.

Please advise.

Do we know why the date on the headstone does not match the memorial? Thanks for finding it. I appreciate the work you have done.
