Wallace Smith, 87, Dies; Ex-Rail Man
Wallace Smith, 87, died Tuesday at the home of his sister, Mrs. W.C. Hornung, 3435 So. 46th. Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bader Chapel in Fremont.
Mr. Smith, longtime resident of Fremont, had been a Chicago and North Western railroad engineer for 45 years before his retirement. He had lived with Mr. & Mrs. Hornung the past two years, coming from Fremont.

Thank you so much for the picture of Lorna Bell (Rice) Smith. Now if we could find her husband Wallace M. Smith. Maybe he is there but no headstone?? He died died 31 years later in 1947.
They only had one child Hope Smith and not sure she lived to adulthood.
