|I love Find A Grave. Have made contact with relatives I never knew existed. Have been doing research on my family tree and my husband Bob's. Not real good at it yet, but working on it. Has been so exciting making new discoveries. I welcome any and all additions to my info as well as corrections. That's part of this site that is so great. You communite with others doing the same thing and learn so much. Good to get correct info for your family names. I look family names Whitney, Seetin/Seaton, Dingler, Taylor, Thrash, Moon. I also look for my husband's family line, Hensley, Henshaw, White, Ledford, Mitchell and other names related to these names.|
If have corrections for any memorial I have done, please let me know about it. Or have additions. Or if you find we might be related, be glad to share info.

|Ann E. Hayes||RE: Hayes family|
Yes I am Hayes by Marriage. My husbands family started in Missouri and moved to Oklahoma in the late 1800s and early 1900. He is Donald Hayes Sr. He carries his mothers maiden name. Her name was Willie Beatrice Hayes born 1933, died a few years ago. She is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery with her mother in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her parents are buried there too. Ed and Ella Hayes. We dont know the parents names of Ed Hayes just that he came from Missouri. My husband is Black in race.

Hey Kathy, you will need to transfer these memorials back to me in order for me to delete them. Thanks so much for your hard work. :)

Apparently you requested a photo of a grave marker on Find-a-grave and it was fulfilled.
|Joanne Scobee Morgan||Hensley family|
I see your name quite often in my search for the Hensleys. Since his father's death, my son-in-law has become more interested in his ancestors. So I'm trying to help him. I've been doing genealogy since the 1960s. It doesn't seem to be helping though. lol.
The problem we have is that Sean Hensley, my s-i-l, is part Indian. His father really looked Indian. Sean is blond and blue-eyed but otherwise looks just like his dad.
Sean's grandfather was Mearl Thomas Hensley, a thug who was shot and killed in Chicago in the early 1970's. According to Sean's dad, before he died he told Sean some things about the family. He said that Mearl's parents were William Alfred and Flora Leona O'Dell. William Alfred was the son of a John Thomas Hensley and John Thomas's father was James Hensley.
The photo of another John Thomas Hensley and his wife, Polly, look so much like Sean's dad, and knowing his Indian heritage, we wonder if somehow James isn't their son. Do you have any idea?
|Jessie L. Craigmiles||RE: Laura Blanche Thrash Puckett|
Sorry , I cut myself off.
I will finish this message with Samuel O Puckett. He is as far back as I have been able to trace the Puckett name. I am pursuing a lead to find his parents names. I will let you know if it turns out.
I look forward to hearing back from you.

Look at the photo. The name shows clearly William .
