I am writing a two-volume book on the 8th Indiana. I would like to include photos of the soldiers and their headstones with their biographies. I would like to use some of your photos in the book and will give you credit in the caption for each photo. If you are interested, I can let you know when the book is published.

Chrissie, Houston we have a problem! On Godfrey's memorial it says that he had a child named Catherine Messersmith Ennis. He may have had one but this one is born way before Godfrey! How do I delete that off of Godfrey's? Thanks!

Hello Chrissie, wanted to let you know that Mary Etta's parents are not George and Mary Underhill, but John McCorkhill and Sarah Elizabeth Miller. I am their great great granddaughter and have done much research on the geneology, including the Blessinger side(Mary Ettas first marriage). Would you please update the find a grave information. Thanks

I think the Samuel Perin who married one of Stephen Martin's daughters is the son or grandson of Lemuel Perin. Lemuel is buried at Klum Cemetery. October 22 they are dedicating a marker to Lemuel whose descendants say rode with Paul Revere and the Minutemen in the Revolution. Just an interesting note, I think. Stay in touch.

I think I have pictures of him and his wife. I will be glad to add them if they are the Andis. Love to exchange info. Take care. Pam

please check your edits.
Mary was the daughter of William and Lucinda Jones, not Thomas and Matilda.

Chrissie, I don't live near Indianapolis ( I'm in Michigan ) so I won't be able to look at the tombstone. However, if you submit a photo request, a volunteer in the area will visit the cemetery and photograph the marker for you.
Chrissie. I appreciate you taking the time to post a picture of Granpa Jacob Kramers grave in Metamora. Bless you.
