Upon graduation from High School in St. Clair, MO in 1944 I enlisted in the Army Air Corps. After discharge I attended a Technical School in St. Louis, MO. I worked for Convair (now Lockheed) in Ft. Worth, TX for five years as a techincal representative. In 1953 I went to work for Bell Helicopter in Ft. Worth, TX, retiring in 1992 as Manager of International Customer Support.|
I became interested in Genealogy in 1998, years too late to gather information from my ancestors who were all deceased. Three of my Grandparents were immegrants and the other was one generation removed. My primary interests are the Vetters, Langs, McGees, McCanns, Marrs, Chandlers and Browns.
If I manage a memorial of a relative, please contact me and I will transfer it.

Wow! That's nice you found Linda. I didn't get that far in looking for her. Wonder why she used that name? If I find anything more in the newspapers, I will let you know. Pam

I would guess that Peggy was adopted by John. She would have been too old to be his natural daughter when she came with her mother into the marriage. It appears that she and her husband must have divorced if you found them buried apart. I still wonder why her mother went by the name "Linda" if her name was actually "Erika." Well, at least you have some good leads now. I haven't found anything about the New Mexico/Colorado deaths of Vernon and his wife, other than what I already sent you. Hope I have helped you! Pam

That's great! I sent you John's obituary to post on his memorial. Did you get it? I also have more information for you! I went on a little hunt for the Marr's in newspapers just out of curiosity. I have some great stuff that will be posted on the memorials as soon as that person accepts my edits.
Keep an eye on this cemetery:
The new information will be up soon. It will have links to the family members along with some of their death information. Did you know Vernie/Vernon was electrocuted when he stepped on a wire in New Mexico? Then his wife died of consumption not too long after. Both died young. I'm still researching some of the Chatsworth information. Happy to help! Pam

I thank you for what you sent but I have all that info. And copies of the census records thru Ancestry.com. As I said I have been working on my own family line for some time but Ken was never interested in his family. Now with Ancestry it is so easy. Yes, mom was Beulah but my father-in-law gave her the nickname "Johnnie" from day one. I met all of her brothers and her dad. I have info Howard's family I was looking for further back and I did find his great grandfather. I have a lead on Anna's place of burial but, the cemetery is giving me a different year of death then the memorial has. I've requested a photo to see what the marker says. I have Anna great-grand parents back on both sides, but I always want more. Again thanks for all your help and if I have something you need let me know.

When my mother-in-law passed away my husband was her executor. His sister wanted me and husband to take all her photos and family papers. Then 6 weeks of her passing my own mother nearly died. She was hospitalized to some time and then in a rest home for another month. When she went home my sister and I helped her in many ways for some time. So I really didn't do much with all the photos Anna had of the family. When my mother passed away I suddenly had all my mother's family photos. That what happens when you are the family genealogist. To be honest I just didn't have the time to do a lot to do anything at that time. My husband and I are both retired now, but we have found you cannot do all those things we wanted to get done in the first year of retirement. I have not worked on Ken's family very much because he was just not that interested other than just a few generations back. I have been working on his family lately and scanning photos from his father's side. When I do get to that big cedar chest with all of Anna's family photos I will contact you again and see if your wife would like copies of anything. One thing I don't know is where Anna is buried. Howard was a minister and served in several states and with the last name of Johnson it is hard to find her. Does your wife by any chance know where she is buried?

I wondered if you could identify Janie, because I think I have a picture of her, but not for sure.
