Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm Emily from Rockville, MD. I've liked cemeteries and history in general since I was very young, and I'm particularly interested in babies, children, young people, and suicides. There's something tragic and unresolved about them that intrigues me.I'm also very interested in Rockville Cemetery because I've spent a lot of time there since I was young and it's a place that means a lot to me.I don't know most of the people I add, I normally just happen across them while I'm walking around local cemeteries or I find them in the Washington Post obituaries. The individuals I do have personal connections to are listed under Friends and Relatives over here -------------------------------->If I've added someone of yours that you'd like linked to other relatives, transferred to you, or removed from the site, I'll be happy to do that for you. :) Likewise if you have additional information about anyone please let me know. Also I'd like to thank everyone who leaves flowers for the people I've added, my friends and family, and for everyone listed on this site. You guys are super duper awesome. :)

Hi,
I greatly appreciate all the work you have done. I was just curious if you knew where the Clarke came from for Myra Magruder Anderson.

Annie's parents
Emily, hope you are doing well - an Update:
With the help from a local expert, I found Annie's parent's memorial pages in Holy Rood cemetery in Georgetown. I submitted "Edits' on Annie's page adding their memorial numbers. You might get an email to approve them.

Infant Allen
I see you have listed Infant Allen in your Find A Grave names. I am related to the Allen family and never knew about this child. Do you have any information about him/her? Far as I know the Allen's had 5 girls. Hope to hear from you soon.

RE: Small world indeed!
Grandpap married Gladys before I was born, so even though it wasn't paternal he was there from the beginning!! I remember how he caring and funny he was..I thought of him as Popeye the Sailor Man when I was a child and would eat spinach to grow up like him!! It was a shame to all here to learn the Mickey died last year. :( All in all its great to meet new family!!! We must stay connected now!!

FYI, Rockville Cemetery now has a Facebook page - please come "Like" it.

I see that you are a participant in archiving Memorials and Photos for Rockville Cemetery! Excellent. Please consider attending the Rockville Cemetery Annual Meeting, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 7-9 pm at the Rockville City Hall (111 Maryland Ave). You can meet the Board Members, learn some Cemetery history, ask questions, give suggestions, etc. It would be great to meet you.
