Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am addicted to geneology and & findagraves has become my favorite past time. I currently live in Central Florida, but my family research centers around Lebanon, Russell Va & surrounding counties. I have been working on my family tree since 2006. I love searching out old family graveyards that are most likely not cataloged or posted on findagraves. I find myself traveling down a back road, spot an old gravesite & I'm hooked. I have no clue to those resting there, but somewhere there is someone who connects to them. This is where I take this info and search ancestry to see if I can find a family tree I can donate my info. I am happy to transfer any memorials to family, please don't hesitate to ask. You have my permission to use any photos I post to this site.

Faye, I added your suggested note to Erwin Gibson's memorial, as requested. If you're related, I would be happy to transfer management of this memorial over to you.

RE: Sarah Ellen Combs McGlothlin
Hi Faye, yes of course you can use Sarah Ellen Combs McGlothlin's photo. How are you related? She was my grandmother but I never knew her until about 4 years ago. It took me 50+ years to find my father. I was able to locate my dad's nieces and they shared the photo with me. Thank you for asking, most people wouldn't, but I do appreciate your thoughtfulness. Sharon.

RE: George Clark Butner

my tree I believe I am just Lesli Wall, I am not a member of Ancestry so I can't follow "hints", but have the treemaker for my line.

Thank you

RE: Photos copied to my ancestry tree
Hello Faye, sorry for the delay in responding between my chemo and taking care of my mother it leaves me fatigued. My husband took the pictures when he went to a family reunion in Oct 2016. He said a man took them part the way up the path and it almost killed him and his neice before they got to the top of the hill. He is related to most of the families in the cemetery. The Pruners,Williams, and others that seem to escape me at this time. His is very interested in talking to you to see if you are related. I'll check with him to see how he wants to communicate email or phone and let you know. His cousins are checking to see ownership of the cemetery and try to collect funding for clean up and finding a better way of accessing the cemetery. Judy

Nancy A. Carrell
Thank you for the photograph of Nancy A. Carrell's monument. She was the daughter of Vincent H. Kelly and Ann Alexander. She is my 4th great aunt. Again, thank you for taking your time and talent to share this information.
