|Robert Smith||Jacob Lenox|
Hi Debbie - Jacob Lenox born March 1, 1851 and died October 30, 1926. He was married to Lunetta Grimes born May 4, 1853 and died January 16, 1931. She is not the other name on the headstone and I bleieve they were either separated or divorced - she is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Tonica, LaSalle, IL. The other name on the stone is that of his daughter Katherine (Katie) Lenox Merkle. She was born in 1884 and died in 1953 and divorced her husband Edward Merkle sometime between 1904 and 1910. Jacob and Lunetta had 6 children. Myrtle Bell (Feb 1876-Jul 19, 1943)married David Frederick Kurtz, Katherine, Burns J Lenox (my wife's grandfather)(Jul 6, 1889-Feb 11, 1957)married Irma Lear, Margaret Fay Lenox (Jun 1, 1893-Jul 1, 1965) married Rollin Foster Hartenbower, Anna E Lenox (1881-1966) married Fred M Orange, and Ruchard H Tedrow (after being widowed), and an unamed infnat born about 1885. Let me know if I can help you with additional info - there are pictures of the headstones for Burns and Anna (under the name Tedrow) shown under the Polk City Cemetery search
