Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have loved cemeteries since I went to college in Boston and could hardly believe the history under my feet! I feel fortunate to have moved back to New England where many families have their roots, and love exploring local cemeteries.

I am originally from Minnesota.

I am on findagrave sporadically, and I apologize If I don't respond to a request in a timely fashion. Feel free to request a transfer of ownership of any memorials I've added - most are not my relatives.

Parkhurst Cemetery
Thank you for all your effort in filming stones, since I will never get there. One point: the photo of the stone of Margaret Culver Is that of Margaret, wife of Elisha, her name is Margaret Gould, b. abt 1782 in Rhode Island and died 1873 in Norwich. Buried, as you found, in Parkhurst.

The dates are those of Mary Weaver Culver, wife of James. James Culver is said to be buried there also.

hi AJ
In your description of Hogback (in Norwich), you mention the Sargent Cemetery. Do you know anything about it?

many thanks,

William Sayles Headstone
Thank you for taking William Sayles headstone. It must have been difficult to find a way to take it so that the letters can be read. The stone is so light with the lettering exactly matching it. The words are easily seen and the brown around WILLIAM gives the eye something to grab onto in contrast to the stone. Excellent job!!!

AJ -

Thank you very much for posting the headstone photo for my great grand uncle Teddy. I have wonderful memories of him from when I was a child. I had my photo request posted for quite a while and thought I was out of luck. I greatly appreciate your time and effort.

Now if I had read down a few posts...I would have seen that you have been there. I've been up there recently and posting stones. It's quiet the place!

Fosters in Parkhurst Cemetery
Thanks so much for the entries for Hiram and Rhoda Foster. They are the parents of Dr. Hollis Jefferson Foster who died in Ontario California. I have linked Hollis to his parents and it would be great if you would link Hiram and Rhoda as married. I believe the Culvers are Rhoda's family but don't have enough to link them as yet.

Thanks again!! Lola Lowe - Cooper Regional History Museum, Upland, California
