McBrides
Dear Judy - I saw your message about wanting info on McBrides, Gilberts. I have a lot of McBrides (my grandmother was Mildred McBride Stinson Meredith) & she was into genealogy before passing away. I've got her material and, in the middle 90s, photographed most if not all of Zions Rest in Jackson Parish. I am actually now having them put on a disk so I can load them into the computer & add them to FindAGrave.com. Anyway feel free to email me any questions. I grew up in Jonesboro & moved from Shreveport to Iowa 1 & 1/2 yrs ago, but my younger brother Jerry has gotten the bug & last yr I flew down to Houston where he lives & we drove over & did some photos in Winn, Jackson, Lincoln, & Union parishes. We had a blast!
