finding family
Hi Cora McMicheal was my great grandmother. I know so little about my fathers family I thought it was time to find out as much as I could to pass on to my family. I was so thrilled to see the picture of the head stone and cant wait to start taking so of my own snap shots!

Scioa McMichael memorial
Hello Lauren:

Sorry for all the empty emails. I must have hit the wrong key.

I wanted to say the Sciota S. McMichael is my 1st cousin 3rd gen removed. Her father is buried in Michigan. After his death her mother moved to Neb. with most of her children.

Thanks again for the transfer.

Williams AKA Clay-Moser Cemetery
I noticed your request for Ostrom headstone photos in the Clay-Moser Cemetery. My husband has great & great-great grandparents buried in the same cemetery.
You might be interested to know the cemetery's original name was Williams Cemetery and my husband has a copy of the original deed of A. J. Williams giving the land to the Board of Trustees. The land was originally part of A. J. Williams farm and the farmhouse still stands next to the small cemetery. The cemetery received the name Clay-Moser when the cemetery was indexed by the local genealogical society, I believe.
