Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family history for over forty-two years. I find I am spending almost as much time on Find A Grave today as I do on Ancestry, RootsWeb and FamilySearch.

All you have to do to request a transfer of a memorial is provide lineage proving that you are more closely related than I am and promise me you will take care of the memorial on a timely basis.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, please send me a note. The easiest way to do this is to click on the "Edit" tab and then click on the "•Suggest a correction or provide additional information" link.

If you choose to send me a message or an e-mail, be sure to identify the memorial by including the Find A Grave Memorial#.

Happy Hunting!

RE: Alice Charity McCormick Headstone

You are most welcome! I've found many of my ancestors also lost quite a few children.

I would pick one of the hottest days of the year to go take photos, though! No sunburn, so I'm good. ;-)

RE: Birthdate fo John A. Logan Maxwell
Hi Ray....I know time-consuming it is to keep all the memorials up to date. Your Aunt Mary (Beven) was the first cousin once removed of my stepfather, Al Hoffman. Al's mother was a Beven and, as you probably know, there are a plethora of Bevens. Even though they are no relation to me, I have been adding them to my tree. Several years ago, Al and my mother and I visited Muscotah, KS were many of them lived and are buried. Al spent some early years on his family's farm there, which he inherited, and he transferred it to his daughter (my step-sister) before he died. Thanks for getting in touch. By the way, your Uncle Logan sounds like an interesting guy.

You may wish to update memorial #54635632 for John A. Logan Maxwell. The birthdate is shown as 1885, yet the obituary on the memorial shows a birthdate of 30 Dec 1884. Just suggesting.

You are very welcome. It was Wayne who went. Is she related to the Deathridges in Waverly, Morgan County? We've taken lot of photos there too. Best Wisjes, Wayne and Connie

I sent you an email, Ray. If I can't help, I can ask his sons or wife.
