Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing ancestry research on my family for about 10 years now. Lee, Abshier, Woodall, Maguire, Hilton, Ainsworth, Barrow and Pruitt are the main surnames of my research. Mostly in South and East Texas, Virginia, Alabama and South Carolina.

I had no information on my father's side of the family until about 3 years ago when I finally tracked down his twin sister. Slowly getting more info since then. Still hitting a brick wall with the Pruitt side of my family.

I've become the official family historian. Any info you might have to add to my collection would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and good hunting.

Thanks so much for your interest. I live in St. Louis so I do understand HOT (although this year we are having resort weather.) We have not even turned on our air conditioning. However It does rain almost every day and our farms & low areas are really suffering.

Please doing go and walk that huge cemetery. I will try & research it & see if I can get a location on that tombstone.

This is the first time I have ever heard of a Texas person being so rude about genealogy, they are usually very helpful.

Thanks again & I will try to send you some cool weather.

Hoyt grave maker
Thank you for trying to get a picture of the grave stone, but if it going be to much by walking the whole cemetery to fine it, don't worry about it. Having a picture of that grave is not that important to me.
The Capital Park cemetery probably don't want to mass with trying to help fine grave, so they use the Privacy policy as a excuse. I was at a cemetery today and the staff that was there want out of his way to help me fine a grave maker and we end up not fine one.

We been lucky so far here in Iowa when it comes to temp. Today it in the 70's we had two days that were above the 85 degree. We get few days with no rain and then decide to rain again(like today).

Thank you
Dena,

Thank you so very much for trying to get the photo. I also live in Texas (northeast) and know how hot it is. It is just downright difficult to find a particular grave in the larger cemeteries without a little index help. Walking them can be murder in this heat!

Keep me in mind when it gets a little cooler, ok?

Thanks again for trying,

CC

Thank you!
For your efforts. Sorry about that; I live just outside Anchorage, Alaska and it's in the 60's here right now. I didn't know they were very private.
