RE: Jefferson Davis Evans
Rev. W.G. Evans 2nd wife was a relative of mine, Susannah Carter, In the 'Carter letters' she tells of her marriage to a 'young widower, a local preacher, a very good looking, and I think, a very good man.' When they married, 30th January, 1847, he was 'Clerk of the Circuit, Probate and Police Courts of Harrison Co., and they lived in Mississippi City on the seacoast.'
The letter was included with another one, written Oct. 19th, 1848.

Jefferson Davis Evans
I found (added & linked) another son of Wesley G & Alice Walden Evans. You may want to add it to your bio for W.G. Evans.
Be glad to transfer him, since you have/know the history of this family.

Hey Stumpjumper! Just an update on Mr. and Mrs. Thomson's research; I was spelling their last name with a "p". I finally found their records. I still do not know what happened to their tree I had begun on Ancestry. It is gone. But, anyway, at least I have their burial records and dates of birth and all of the links you researched to her relatives.
Thank you again,

RE: Thank You
Hello Stump Jumper! I am trying to find info on my 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Thompson. I had started a tree on her but for some reason she is not listed any longer on my list of trees. Do you have any idea where she is buried? I might be spelling her name wrong or something, but I cannot find a burial record anywhere for her on find a grave. Any help will be appreciated. God bless,

Hello Stump Jumper,
I do hope you are well. I sure miss corresponding with you. I noticed that on Mr. Raymond Boyette's and family's write ups that you inquired about Mrs. Louella's maiden name. She was, Louella Nance, also from Tippah county, MS. Her first cousin, Adelle Nance married mother's older brother, Herman Eugene Yancey. Just thought I would share.
I do hope you are well.
God bless,
