|Louis du Mort||Annette Funicello|
Hello Mama T,
I saw your message for Annette Funicello and it touched my heart. You will be in my thoughts this Friday as you learn the results of your test.
By the way, my husband's great grandfather was from Ireland, and his name was McCool.

Your note about your Grandpa's mustache made me laugh out loud, and reminded me of the story behind this WWI photo. My Grandpa actually never had a mustache. His father had a mustache, which he admired, so he drew one on this picture just to see how he'd look with one!
|Rhonda C./Friends||RE: Trapper Dog Poynter|
Hi, Thank You so much for the kind words about Trapper's story...Yes, someday, it will be included in a complete book, probably the one that I am working on about my parents. It's been published as an essay, a personal essay, etc. many, many times online and in hard print - I actually just found it online in a couple of places that didn't ask and didn't reimburse me for it, but I don't have too much of an attitude about it because it is Trap and Ron's story, and it should be there for whoever wants to read it, share it, reprint it. As the page mentions, it seems to bring great comfort to terminally ill individuals, and even those incarcerated - I am blunt to the point that people go, "Wow...", but, I have a family member on Death Row, and it has brought him great comfort. My brother Ron, during his time here, wanted to help people such as our relative, and so I am sure that he is very, very pleased that the story and photo comforts the lost...Anyhow, do take care, and again, Thank You for such sweet words. Stay in Touch - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

Like u....i am curious of these things too. Little Jack was my daughter's teacher's son. He was perfectly healthy and he just stopped breathing in the middle of the night. Only thing they can possibly contribut his death to is ...he just got all his vaccines plus H1N1 vaccine. He was precious huh. His mom had two little girls after Jack. She is very open about talking about Jack and keeping his memory alive. It is so nice of u to write. Thank u.

How are you and the boys doing? Well I hope. I lost all my info when lightening hit my pc last summer. I hope you still have my email address. If so would love to hear from you.
I forgot to mention that the family tree invitation I wanted to send to you is for my ancestry.com tree. I just thought that if nothing else, you might be interested in seeing some of the pictures that I have on there. My other cousin I was telling you about lives in Cynthiana, KY and he has a lot of fond memories of your dad and his brother. My cousin, Greg, always knew him as Mart. Anyway, Greg found a picture that has your dad in it and I think he is planning on scanning it to add to my tree in the next few days. I hope to hear back from you soon! Take care.

I was so excited to hear from you! We are cousins for sure! Robert's sister Eliza was actually Eliza Francis "Frankie" Cole and she was married to John Newton "Newt" Miller. They were my GG grandparents. Robert and Frankie's mom was Sarah Roberts Cole. Her maiden name was Roberts but I have found marriage documents that shows that before she was married to James Cole, she was married to a man named John Good(e) and had at least 2, possibly 3 children with him. I am not sure what happened to John Good but then Sarah married James Cole. I haven't been able to find out what happened to James Cole either. I am assuming that he died because the last census I can find him on was 1880. Then Sarah married Guy Jones in 1893. I have become friends with another cousin through my family tree research and he has given me LOTS of pictures and information about the family. A lot of his information is on the Miller side with Frankie's husband and their children but he did know your father and Mort quite well when he was younger. He has shared several pictures including some of Robert Cole and also of Sarah Roberts Cole. I would love to send you an invitation to view my family tree so you can see these pictures and get them for yourself. Let me know what email to use for the invitation and I will send it right away. We are leaving for a long weekend away to visit my family early tomorrow (Thursday) morning so depending on how the time goes it may be a few days before you hear from me. Take care and nice to meet you! I look forward to sharing information!
Becky Cole (only a Cole by marriage into a different family line!)

I found a memorial that you posted for Stanley Cole. It says that he is the son of Robert A Cole and that Robert's father was from Ireland. I believe this is the same Robert Cole that was a distant uncle of mine. I am hoping that you might have some family information that could help me along my journey to complete my family tree. Do you know anything about any of Robert's sisters or parents? If it is the same Robert, I believe that he had a sister named Eliza Francis and she went by Frankie. She was my GG Grandmother. Her parents were James Cole and Sarah Roberts Cole. I have found some things out about Sarah Roberts Cole but I don't know anything at all about James Cole other than he was born sometime around 1840. I thought he was born in Kentucky and that it was his father that was from Ireland but maybe I have my information wrong. Anyway, I was just wondering if you might be able to connect any of these dots to see if they are the same person. Thanks for your time.
