We had a entry on for Robert E. found in the Long Grove book in Maynard. Now,found it in the Grandview book also. We have deleted ours but, have asked for you to link to parents in Grandview. We had a birth date of 1933-1933 also. Thanks Bonita Meyer Meier Davenport.

Miehe family in Maynard, Iowa
The last post about the Miehe's having a double funeral caught my attention. Since you are doing Find A Grave for just you and your husband's family, I am willing to find out more information about the Miehe family if you need it. I am very close to that area.

Homer and Marie Spragg Miehe
I believe she and her husband had a double funeral buried in the same box. The accident was Friday night October 13th, she died 14 Oct 1950 and he died 15 Oct 1950,funeral services were Wednesday Oct 18th.

services for Mr. and Mrs. Homer

J. Miehe, farming couple near Maynard,

who were fatally injured

in an automobile collision last

Friday night near Waverly on

highway 3. Funeral was Wednesday in

St. Paul's Lutheran church here.

Burial was in one grave in

Long Grove cemetery.

Homer J. Miehe, 34, was born

July 28, 1916, on a farm near

here, son of John and Bertha

(Bartels) Miehe. He grew to

young manhood on the farm and

married Marie Spragg of Hazleton

Jan. 25, 1938

Mrs. Miehe, 30, was born at

Hazleton Sept. 5, 1920, the daughter

of Mr. and Mrs. Hillard

Spragg. The couple leave three

children, Donna, 11; Margaret

three, and Barbara six months.

Mr. Miehe also leaves his

father and a brother, Floyd. His

mother preceded him. Mrs.

•Miehe also leaves her parents,

five brothers and three sisters.

I see that you have entered many family members in both of the Find A Grave listed Marietta cemeteries. Could you help me determine which Marietta cemetey I should chose for the memorials I wish to add? Is there a difference?
