Hi Kim,

Aha, I remembered. The headstone list for Ridgelawn is on Norm Meinert's website of cemeteries. The two headstones I photographed are in what they call section 5. There are headstones for Elizabeth and Linden (same last name) in section two. maybe they are related to you, too?

If I can be of further help, let me know.

Hi Kim,

Nothing is necessary on your part. I transferred the memorials to you and am happy that they have found a relative to "care" for them. I really wish I could tell you what part of the cemetery they were in, but I walked all over the cemetery snapping photos. Do you live in Pittsburgh? There is a list of headstones in Ridgelawn that might tell me what section they are in. I'll have to think about where I saw the list.

Hi Kimmer,

No, it is not necessary for you to manage it if you do not wish to do so. There's nothing involved, though, really. I have about 1,200 memorials, only because I entered them after taking pictures of headstones. Basically, I simply answer inquiries if someone asks about a relative, as you did. The reason you might want to have management transferred to you is that you could add whatever information you wish to the memorial. It's your choice, though, and I'm happy to abide by your wishes either way.

Best regards,

Patricia

Hello, Kim,

No, I am not related, but I have relatives in this cemetery so I snapped other photos while I was there. Also, I don't know how the information about David was added. I believe the website must somehow attach it. I'll be happy to transfer this memorial to you, since you are related.

I will keep an eye out for this name when I am there next. The cemetery is not too big but lots of old markers and many are hard to read if at all. Some broken, some new and lots very old. This cemetery is in a city type setting behind the Mt. Washington Library but it has no paved roads only gravel ones. It seems to be fairly maintained with lots of trees and a fountain which was donated by a local doctor many years ago. If you find more details do let me know and I will see what I can find next trip.
