RE: Damkey headstones
Penny,

I know this is an old request, and I'm sure I answered you back then. You said you were related to the Damkey's? I also am related to the Damkey's through Conrad and Sarah (Long) Damkey's daughter Louise Adele Damkey, who married Mason C. Lloyd. Louise Adele Damkey was my Great Grandmother. I have been researching the Damkey name for quite some time. My husband and I walked the New Douglas Cemetery searching for all the Damkeys we could find. Hopefully we found most of them. We may have missed a few, but I feel confident that we found most of them.

Thank goodness for digital cameras!

I am very interested in which Damkey you are related through. I am old enough to have attended one of the original Damkeys funeral in 1950, but too young to remember much other than being on the family farm.

Thanks for taking the time to write.

Waiting to hear from you.

You are free to copy any of the headstones or pictures I have added to sites. I am also related to the Damkey's through their daughter Louise Adele who married Christopher Lloyd.

We are related.

RE: Elder and Dale family
I don't mind but would love to know if you're related. My mom was a Dale. I may have more info and photos if you're interested. Joyce11@charter.net
