It is great to see the information of Joshua Adcock.
I am a descendent of Betsey, Anderson and Patsey " Martha"
Glover. They were listed in the household in the 1850 census.

You have a request at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis. This cemetery is quite large and without a plot location it is near impossible to just stumble upon a requested grave.
I am happy to try to fulfill your request though if you will contact the office and ask for the plot location.
Just let me know, or post the plot on the memorial and I will try to fulfill it in the near future
The office can be reached at (901) 767-8930

Joshua's son Henry was my great great Grandfather. I would like to share info about Joshua's other children. I have a copy of Joshua's Last Will and Testament which lists all of his children. I can be contacted via the net at TWAddcox@netzero.net.
Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you.

Request permission to use your photos of his grave-site & of the Odd-Fellows monument in my genealogy book about the Partlow - Crossett family.

|Dan Mines||Joshua Adcock|
Hello, I too am interested in him. There are trees on Ancestry and Family search which name his father as John Adcock b. 1700 Essex Co., VA., d. 1780 Granvile Co., N.C. and mother as Elianor Partee b. 1701, d. 1765. My reason for interest is that my G.G.G. Grandfather was William Adcock b. 9 Jan 1825 in Bedford Co., TN. On his death cert is stated father as Wiseman Adcock. Some have made the link to Joshua thur William. Do you have any info on this?
I'm so glad that you managed to find your ancestor.
About a year ago, one of the Find A Grave "bullies" tried to get me to remove him from here because he was buried in an unknown grave. As you can see, I refused--and told her that this person had spent many years on this earth and was a Revolutionary War veteran, and that he deserved to be remembered.
I've gladly transferred him to you.
Thank you for the new information about Joshua. I've added it to his entry.
Looks like you maintain information on the Sextons. I'm working on information on Marcus Thompson. It appears Marcus and Minnie had three kids. Some how these kids ended up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas area and later Minnie married Mr Bailey. One of the three Thompson kids was my grandfather. He appears to be named after Flournoy Sexton.
