|I am an amateur genealogist and have found one of the best ways for me to collect hints on my family is to walk cemeteries. I currently live in California but many of the cemeteries I have walked are in Alabama. I take pictures of all the markers in cemeteries where I find ancestors. It is simply quicker than trying to write details down in the cemetery. If you have a Biography for one of the entries I would be happy to post it as well. I am not a typist and hopefully have not made tooooo many typos but if you see one please let me know so I can fix it|
I am not related to many of the people I have added; entries are posted in the interest of genealogy and history, and the hope that someone will add my lost ancestors.
I will no longer do mass transfers of everyone with a specific surname in a cemetery. I will continue to add cemetery surveys as time allows.
Please use the "Suggest a change" link on the edit tab of a memorial to suggest changes or request transfers.

|Liza||Blassengame "Gaines" Hamilton|
Blassengame's middle name doesn't appear in any documents that I have found. My father Ross Woodford Hamilton was his grandson. He believed that his middle name was Gomillion. We know for certain his initials were BG and that his first name was Blassengame. His nickname was Game.

Hi Eric. In your intro for grandpa Christy, you have him married to his mother, Mary Virginia Vaughn. Would you please correct this. He married Mabel Dell Foster on November 18, 1910, in Warsaw, Benton, MO.
If you need further info for this family, please let me know, I have a bunch.
Connie (Christy) Cox
Thank you for the transfer. I'm working on linking up her children now.

Thanks, Eric. Averitte (1775-1845) and Aretha "Amity"Lovett (?- 1828 or even 1815) Watson. That death date really helps. That is as far back as I can go but if I run into the counties you mentioned, I will know who to contact.
