|Saundra Dowling||RE: Son|
I am so sorry for your loss of your son Johnny. I find it hard at times to admit to my self he is no longer going to walk though the door and give me that big bear hug he was famous for giving his family. It seems that I look for him in every face I see. I know he is at rest and we will see him again one day and I will get that big bear hug once again, but in the mean while my heart aches so much. If you ever need someone to express how you are feeling or just to trade funny stories about our sons please feel free to message me and I will send you my email address. May God bless you, Saundra

Hi there - I am not the person who has the page for Mary J Ballard. That is Tracker - (Leslie Hughes). I am no relation and I am sure she is not either. A group of people have tried to help others who have people buried in the Carolinas find their ancestors. Looks like we are doing a good job ;<)
Just as a note since you are new to ancestry - the SC death certificates are available online from 1915 until 1955 and I see your Mary Jane died in 1922 so she will have one (hopefully) that you can use in documenting your family. I have done ALOT of research in this area for many years so if there is something I can help you with pls don't hesitate to ask. I do all my own research (and you should as well) and take the stuff on ancestry as a guide unless there are documents to back it up. Too many times I have seen people basically just fill in the blanks with a name with not one shred of proof. I personally do not research like that. There is also an obit for Mary Jane that appeared in the Greenville News: Ballard Mary J Walker 1922 Mar 8 p8 that you may wish to get. Good luck in your search.
