Have been researching both my husband's family as well as my own. Names on his side include:
Baker, Goodyear, Bulloch(k), Rogers.
My side: Swartz, Staton, Russo, Esposito, Waddle, McCausland, Moore, Frazier, Ricketts. I live in southern NJ and walk through the local cemetaries that sometime are Revolutionary Era and older.

I submitted an edit for the marker transcription on this stone as the old s looks like an f, often. I left out a couple of characters, sorry! The marker transcription I wanted to submit was:

alhier rust het yan Lighaem Ian Haring; Geboren den 22 Oktober 1743; Gestorven den 4 January 1779; Oudt 35 Jaren 2 Maanden en 13 Dagen

"Here rests [yan Lighaem] Ian Herring; Born the 22 October 1743; Died the 4 January 1779; 35 Years Old 2 Months and 13 Days"
(end of edit)
The Dutch is archaic, I will let you know what "yan Lighaem" means as soon as my Dutch friend gets back to me.

Antoinette Russo Photo Request
I have fulfilled your photo request for Antoinette Russo at Saint Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, South Hackensack, is the person interred with her a sister? Thank you!

RE: william HOLMES Williams
After corresponding with you and rechecking, I actually found a previously misfiled batch of digital photos from my trip to Good Luck in 2009! I checked and I did have a photo of this grave stone and YOU are correct about the 31 years. Then I also realized that I had 2 sons from this family, a HOLMES Williams and WILLIAM HOLMES Williams, both with the same death date, with W. H. Williams married to Rebecca Rogers. The stone of Rebecca Rogers Williams is right next to the stone for Holmes Williams in front of Potter Church. I deleted my previous edit request and made another one with corrected info. Thank you!

RE: william holmes
Thanks! btw, it is Holmes Williams, not William Holmes. When I went there so long ago I was just trying to find Daniel Stout, which turned out to be very easy! I had no idea at the time that I was related to pretty much everybody at Good Luck. So I do not always know where my info came from. I do know that Daniel and Huldah (Holmes) Williams had at least 10 children with kids born in 1788, 1791, 1793, 1795, 1797, and 1799. Then 2 more, not sure of exact year, then one in 1808. It kind of made sense to me that Holmes Williams would come several years after #9, and I didn't see a gap where he would belong earlier in the sequence. That seems to happen often, as fertility winds down, where the last child comes 6 or 7 years after the second to last. If you get a high resolution photo of a hard to read stone I would be glad to pitch in. Another child of this family is Forman Williams. If you locate a stone with that name it would be really great. Thanks again for all you have done.

Joseph S. Akins Tombstone
Was that you who provided a photo of Joseph S. Akins' tombstone who is buried in the Dover Chapel Cemetery? He is my Great Great Uncle. Since I live in the central part of the U.S., I have never been able to make the trip to the Bayville area to see my family's graves. I recently discovered my Great Great Grandfather & Grandmother's names (William & Lydia Akins), and they are also buried in Dover Chapel. Would love to see a photo of their tombstones also and find some other relatives who have them in common.

BRITTON - Howard and Ella R.

Please Link these two spouses. I've just added photos showing how . . . They must have had a great sense of humor. ELLA's stone Memorial # 32215182 and HOWARD's stone Memorial # 32215183 are facing AWAY from each other ~

Back-to-back -- they were probably buried feet-to-feet !

NOTE: both stones, are behind the Potter Church.
