Find A grave #94177386

I am real curious about John Franklin Trogdon McNair b. 1869-d. 1950 in Prue.
Do you know where he got the name Trogdon in his name. It is unusual name at that time. I know a Uriah Trogdon went to Searcy Co. around that time from North Carolina as a preacher I think. He left in the middle of the night with his wife and children. Suppose someone got word some people were going to kill him. One of his daughters was at someone's house and they left her there. The story goes she didn't ever heard from them.

One of my Miller's married a McNair and moved from Searcy co, Ar to Prue, OK then to Sands Springs, OK where they are both buried.

RE: James McNair - grave photos
Todd - I have reached out to the f.a.g. volunteer to see if they will delete the photos and move them to the correct memorial. I don't want to just delete someone else's photos without giving them a chance to do this their self. Thanks!

RE: David Harrison Davis
What you should do is make a note in the biography part of his memorial. Put what you told me...that family records show he is buried there.

have a great day,

RE: David Harrison Davis
I looked through the whole year of 1916 on microfilm for David Davis. I also looked through the record book of Payne County burials. His name does not appear anywhere. sigh

James Valentine McNair
VDB - Do you want me to transfer James' memorial to you? I noticed you don't have any that you manage. I added some of the info you sent me. thanks! That was very nice of you. Beacher's obituary says five brothers preceded him in death but only four are listed. If you let me know the fifth brother's name I will add it. Again thanks!
