Hello! I do not see any recent activity on your messages. Are you still and active member of Find A Grave?
|Judith Nan Lewis||RE: Cahelle Sarah Green Golightly|
I checked the name Cahelle Green 1850-1897-husband W. P. Golightly (buried at Forrest Cemetery). She is listed on the Etowah County Cemetery Survey of Forrest Cemetery at the Gadsden Public Library in Gadsden, AL. She is listed directly under the first wife of William P. Golightly and listed as Cahelle Green Golightly (which would be the name on her marker). Both females are shown on the survey as having on their marker-wife of W. P. Golightly.
The C and a in the name "Cahelle" are typed in so close to each other on the survey, until the C could possibly be a G, making the name Gahelle instead of Cahelle.
I don't know anything else about her as for now. I added her because I recalled seeing the name Golightly in one of my family lines, but couldn't remember which one at the time.
I still have some work to do on my Gazaway Family Line and hope to get back to it after Christmas. It would come as a surprize to me, if most all the Gazaways in GA were not someway related. I appreciate the info you gave me about Malinda Gazaway Green and Newton Green. If I have anything on them, I will get back to you.
Until Later.....God Bless,

Thank you for adding the photo to her memorial.
I made the correction of Silas Casey. If you are family and want his memorial transferred to you, let me know!
