Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been a part time college instructor for decades in Psy. and Child Dev. I love history and the arts. I have one grown son and I currently live in CA.

I found FAG when I was trying to find where Erma Bombeck was buried back when she died in 1996. I cried when I heard of her sudden passing. I had used her wonderful writings to win several Humorous Reading contests back in High School. Winning those awards gave me new found confidence in a disrupted and stressful family life. It really was a turning point in my life. Thank you Erma.

With FAG, I found there was a tiny Hebrew Cemetery right there in Sonora where I was living at the time. I wiggled my way in the gate, and started documenting. I now feel I know these people and and their families just a little bit.

One couple's stone (Grassetti) had the wife's name but no date of death. So I did some searching and I found Mine(me-nah)in 2009 still living in Sonora, CA. I visited the home she and her husband had built there, and I recorded a great oral history of how she and her family outwitted and escaped the Nazis before settling in the USA. She showed me her old passport, and her picture looked so much like Anne Frank (who was from the same area) I had to hold back tears. Mine is not quite one year older than Anne Frank. I felt I got to meet one of the little girls who got away.

RE: nell rowe sutter
On her memorial page, click the "Edit" tab in the top right corner. Click the link for "Suggest any other correction or addition" and leave a message explaining your direct relationship and asking for the memorial to be transferred. To make it even easier, include your findagrave ID number.

If you get no response, you could email findagrave, explain the situation, and ask if they would deal with it. They probably wouldn't, but you have nothing to lose.

Hi Danetta

Just a note that you created a duplicate memorial page for Melissa Ketunuti. Another person had created an original page the same day as you, but with an earlier memorial number.

You may want to delete your copy.

Hi Danetta,

I would be happy to transfer your great-great grandparents, but I'd like to make sure I have added their obituaries before I do so, if I can locate them. Out of curiosity are you going to add their histories or info about them. That's what really tells what they were like etc. I just found an obituary for George Byron Funk. It is owned by Utah State History. Are you going to ask for his memorial or do you want me to do it. Either way I can add his obituary.
